Biography:
Lucienne Holritz is born Lucienne Sundstrøm Hansen in Avedore, Copenhagen. She first discovered fame as a singer when sister, Lecia Jønsson, formed the duo “Lecia & Lucienne”  In 1964 the world famous record label “His Masters Voice” signed the two girls to record a song composed by Denmark's rock star nr. 1, Otto Brandenburg,  and Nat Russel, singer and lyricist. In 1973 Lecia & Lucienne signed another label (Metronome, owned by Danish piano player and composer, Bent Fabricius-Bjerre) When Lecia & Lucienne recorded their first song on worldwide “Eres Tu” the Spanish Eurovision Song Contest nr. 2 (1973) success came fast. The sisters went number one, at the most important chart in DK, “Dansktoppen” for several weeks, and even today the song is regarded as one of the most beautiful cover versions made in Danish, ever.

The duo, Lecia & Lucienne, survived in the music business for twenty years and during that time most of their other releases made top five.

For more than a decade, Lucienne and Lecia also contributed to Danish recordcompanies recording sessions as backup singers. Lecia & Lucienne is registreted as the most hired backing vocal group from 1973 – 1980 (more than 600 recordings/GRAMEX) performing as backingvocals (a.o. backup singers, for two year touring and performing with winner of Eurovision Song Contest Winners (1963), Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann, as well as soloartist in Lecia & Lucienne.

Following the break-up of Lecia & Lucienne in 1980, Lucienne partly retired from Danish music, while Lecia formed the duo LABAN, with Ivan Pedersen.

 

In 2011 Lucienne Holritz, together with Lecia Jønsson, performed at a big rock-concert in Copenhagen.  Lucienne Holritz has, and still is recording well-known jingles to Danish Radioprograms a.o ELDORADO/DR/ P5

Biography:
Lecia Jønsson, is born as Lecia Sundstrøm Hansen in Avedore, Copenhagen. She bought her first guitar in 1958, and discovered fame as a singer with sister, Lucienne Holritz. Lecia formed the duo “Lecia & Lucienne” 
Lecia was the manager in the duo, and In 1964, - at the age of 16, she got through to the world famous record label “His Masters Voice” . HMV signed the two girls to record a song composed by Denmark's rock star nr. 1, Otto Brandenburg,  and Nat Russel, singer and lyricist. In 1973 Lecia & Lucienne signed another label (Metronome, owned by Danish piano player and composer, Bent Fabricius-Bjerre) When Lecia & Lucienne recorded their first song on worldwide “Eres Tu” the Spanish Eurovision Song Contest nr. 2 (1973) success came fast. Lecia’s identity is formed by her pure voice and her great sense for writing songs. Unique songs, filled with a great melodic substance. If anyone should write a song to honour ABBA’s music, Lecia is definitely one of those.


In 2019 she formes her own recordlabel, CreaRecords, and a vocal/studiogroup af various artist "MoveOver", releasing the first single, a tribute song to ABBA.

Teaming up with producer, Sten Lindegaard, “MoveOver”, a studio group formed by Lecia, is now recording and performing the song.

Besides Lecia, the group also features various artists, one of whom is Lucienne Holritz from the duo Lecia & Lucienne.
